About Me

Hey, I’m Meg — founder of Kind&Clever Creative Co., single mom of three, nonprofit worker by day, and someone who rebuilt her life from the ground up with equal parts grit and grace (all thanks to the good Lord) .

This business wasn’t born out of a big agency dream. It was born from a moment in my life when I had to start over — emotionally, financially, and completely. After leaving a long, difficult marriage, I found myself staring down a blank page with no backup plan and three little humans depending on me.

So I built something.

I taught myself everything I know — branding, websites, marketing strategy, content, and design — one sleepless night and one client at a time. I figured it out the way most of us do: by doing it messy, imperfectly, and with a whole lot of determination.

Kind&Clever exists because of a workshop I’ll never forget. It was supposed to help nonprofits learn digital marketing, but it turned into a sales pitch most of us couldn’t afford. I left frustrated, heartbroken, and a little fired up. I remember thinking, If no one’s going to actually help the people doing the real work — I will. And that’s what I’ve been doing ever since.

Now, I help small businesses, nonprofits, and passionate entrepreneurs show up online with clarity and confidence — and understand how to do it themselves if they want to. I offer:

  • Logo & brand identity design

  • Website design and clean-up

  • Print and digital graphic design

  • Marketing strategy & real-world education

  • Social media management (only when it serves your goals — and your sanity)

I don’t run a flashy agency. I’m one person who works hard, cares deeply, and shows up — for my clients, for my kids, and for the life I’ve built completely on my own. I’m not waiting for someone to come save the day. I do this for us — and now I get to help others do it too.

If you’re starting something from scratch (or starting over), I see you.
Kind&Clever is for people like us. Let’s make something real together.

Community Engagement Manager by Day

I’m the founder of Kind&Clever Creative Co. and also serve as the Community Engagement Manager at Children in Crisis — a nonprofit close to my heart as a survivor of childhood abuse. My work there fuels everything I do creatively. It keeps me grounded, purpose-driven, and deeply connected to people who are trying to make a difference.

Kind&Clever isn’t just about making things look good — it’s about making them mean something. I bring real-life perspective, heart, and hustle to every client I serve. This isn’t a side hustle. It’s how I show up — fully, intentionally, and with something to say.

My Why(s)

Natalie

She's starting high school this fall after five incredible years at the Northwest Florida Ballet Academie. She was the light that pulled me through after losing my dad — the blessing that truly saved my life. Watching her grow into this smart, graceful, driven young woman has taught me what it means to love something more than yourself. She inspires me to work harder, dream bigger, and give her the life she absolutely deserves.

Katherine

She's 9 going on 35 — our family’s comedic relief and emotional glue all in one. She knows exactly how to make me laugh (especially when I don’t think I can), and her heart is as big as her personality. She offers her love freely, gently, and without condition. Through her, I’ve learned that even the smallest acts of kindness  & love ripple out further than we realize.

Caleb

He's  the proudest momma’s boy you’ll ever meet — and I wouldn’t have it any other way. From early morning snuggles to hallway marriage proposals, he’s been trying to lock me down since preschool. He’s 7, endlessly energetic, and brilliant in ways that keep me on my toes. If you think I have big energy… you haven’t met my son.
